Hair Transplant Cost in Kolkata

It is always wise to go for a known surgeon from a reputed clinic and when your success story is budget friendly, that’s bingo. Here, I’ll tell my story and how life-changing can be a hair transplant solution. Believe me, folks, you will gain confidence and start loving yourself again.

I am otherwise a healthy person and had everything in my life, from success to money. But, with my receding hairline, I was losing self-love, gradually. The first time, I realized that my hair fall was not natural; I tried to take remedial measures. I tried various oils and some medications as prescribed by doctors of different practices. Somehow, the hair fall couldn’t be curbed and I started losing hope.

Then one day, as I was scrolling through some online suggestions and blogs on hair fall, I came across the scientific innovations and I became curious. I became hopeful but was worried about how to transform my online discovery into the real-time experience. I shared my concern with my friends as posts about numerous hair transplant clinics in Kolkata seemed confusing. It was then, one of my friends suggested about PLCSC hair transplant clinic and I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Maneesh Sonthalia. I grew hopeful to get my lost appearance back.

On the day of consultation, I was briefed about the two types of hair transplant techniques, quite prevalent here in Kolkata; the FUE and the FUT methods. The later seemed convenient for me in every way, though it might give a mild linear scar, I wanted to avoid the multi-dotted diffuse scarring of the FUE method.

The doctor discussed with me about medical history and told me about how the procedure may go and post-transplant effects. It sounded fine and I decided to go for the surgery. He thoroughly studied my hair thinning pattern at the fronto-temporal corners and in the crown areas. There were immense thinning, except the donor area at the back of the scalp; this had a good density and perfect quantity for transplant.

Previously, a few friends suggested me of wearing wigs, but I was not okay with the artificial hair and artificial look. So, I was excited about the entire thing about getting my normal appearance back.

As discussed the priority was to stabilize hair fall with medications, so my surgeon gave me medicines to improve the condition of rest of the hair and my scalp nourishing to prevent farther deterioration, post-transplant. And, on the day of surgery, he obtained hair grafts with the linear method of “strip” harvesting.

The process was entirely painless, as anesthesia was administered. On identification of the donor zone, hair grafts were obtained as told. I had a numb feeling of mild pinches, but tolerable. I was told to lay on my back for the rest of the procedure and was allowed to watch movies on phone or suggested to take a nap. Well, I opted for the latter. I felt I should wake up to find all the procedure be done. I slept happily, as the surgeon and his team were working to renovate my looks. The full surgery lasted for about 7 hours.

Post surgery, I was told that I can wash scalp after three days. The doctor and his team have been very supportive and while departure, they told me how to take care and gave me medicines and medicated sprays and. I loved the shampoo, though it smelt like any medicated item, it was good.

Post-surgery, there was mild swelling on my forehead but there was no other discomfort. I took a week’s leave from the office, prior and took rest at home. On joining office, everybody appreciated my decision of hair transplant, instead of feeling low about myself.

After almost 30 days, I lost the new hairs but there was re-growth. As prescribed, I continued to take the medicines and regularly applied the shampoo. After three months I had my first hair cut and. Initially, I dreaded a lot, but honestly, my experience is really good. The team of the surgeon at PLCSC clinic made me feel comfortable and I am happy about my decision.

There are numerous good clinics for hair transplant in Kolkata, having a good team of experts. What you must do, is learn about them by gathering enough information and feedback before you decide. This is my own experience with PLCSC and I highly recommend the same.

With years of experience, the surgeon’s skill level is quite high, and with his entirely dedicated team, they serve well. They completely go by patient’s choices and conveniences, like the choice of using medication to improve various factors like improvement of hair density, texture and more. They are generating years of success stories and shining among the best.

Hair transplant surgery is not just a medical procedure but an investment for life, so choosing wisely is a must. Besides looking for a good surgeon and team, you must be calculative about the money to be spent. Your wallet is another essential factor to think with. It is significant to do thorough research, both online and offline before you finally decide with one. To mention, hair transplant cost in Kolkata is yet lesser than most other parts of India, eventually making the city of joy also a tourism hub for the love of hair.
