Male with a particular baldness pattern have a higher risk of developing prostate cancer later in life. Men who have reached 45 years of age with moderate baldness in the frontal and crown region are associated to prostate cancer compared to the ones with no baldness. According to the report of Medical News Today in 2013, African-American men (69%) are at a greater risk of being affected by aggressive prostate cancer.

In general, frontal baldness is connected with high-grade prostate cancer and men who suffered from crown baldness are associated with low-grade prostate cancer. The chances are that around 50% of the male population can develop prostate cancer.

It is equally important to make a healthy lifestyle to lower the chances of developing prostate cancer- Eating healthy foods, drinking plenty of water, exercising at least three times a week and avoiding tobacco intake.
